A2P (Application to Person)
Registration Information
Please note: A2P registration only affects SMS messaging, not phone calls. You can call from your CRM Immediately and send emails.
Do I have to register?
Yes — all businesses sending SMS messages within the U.S. and Canada must register for A2P messaging compliance.

All A2P registrations require an Employer Identification Number (EIN).
If you don’t already have one, you can obtain your EIN directly from the IRS in just a few minutes — for free. Click here to apply for an EIN.
Important:
If you're using a newly issued EIN, there is a mandatory waiting period before A2P registration can be submitted:
30 days for local 10DLC numbers
15 days for toll-free number verification
This waiting period is enforced by The Campaign Registry and major U.S. carriers, not by Lead2Client CRM. It applies across all platforms that offer SMS messaging. The delay ensures that the new business records are fully processed and recognized by the IRS.
Registration fees will be collected from your communication wallet and paid on your behalf to TCR. No additional fees are collected by L2C for your registration.
